Immunizations

Our pediatricians have established an immunization schedule designed to protect your children from birth to 17 years old.  Adhering to this schedule is the best way to protect your children from exposure to 16 potentially harmful diseases.  If you are a new patient, please let your doctor know if your child has missed any vaccines. It is helpful to review the informational sheets published by the CDC and listed on our website before your visit so that we may answer any of your questions.

As a parent, bringing in your infant or child for their shots can be a stressful time. However, the most common side-effects are mild including low grade temperature and redness or swelling at the site of the injection. Applying a cool wet cloth on the site may be all you need. Tylenol can be given, please check with us for the correct dosage.
